A couple of tips for using Newspaper.com
- Use a variety of search terms, because the words used to describe an event at the time of the event may be different that the words we currently use today. For instance, World War I was not a commonly used term until World War II, prior to that, the conflict was called The Great War.
- Saving articles is easier on a computer than an iPad. When using an iPad, you can zoom in on a section and create a screen shot of the page (by hitting the power and home button simultaneously). However, on a computer you can click on the print icon, and choose to save the entire page or a specific area as an image or pdf.
